Shows

We started doing small local holiday shows in 1999.  Eventually we were selling and demonstrating locker hooking at the BIG shows and a lot of them!  We also did the Anchorage Saturday Market where we met many visitors from all over the world.  For years I was active in demonstrating and getting the “Locker Hooking Division” into the Alaska State Fair.  I taught locker hooking classes for many years at Alaska HomeCrafters Emporium, Michael’s Arts & Crafts, and Community Schools.  Now I am doing classes through JoAnn Fabrics.

I always do my shows next to my husband’s booth, which is such a blast!  He is a well known Alaskan artist and you can see his paintings at, Kurt Jacobson Fine Art.  Shows are a lot of hard work and now we only do several shows a year.  Enjoy our photos (more to come)!
