What Is Locker Hooking?
It is an "old rug hooking technique" originating from Great Britain in the early 1900's.  Using a steel
locker hook (a crochet hook with a large needle 'eye' on other end), latch hook rug canvas, fabric
strips, and yarn (which is inside the loops) you can make rugs, wall hangings, baskets, purses,
kitchen items, frames, clothing, blankets, home decor and accessories,
and etc.
  >It's easy, quick, and fun!
  >Inexpensive and portable!
  >Easy on the hands and eyes!
  >Very relaxing and therapeutic!
  >Anyone can do it!
  >A great way of using up your fabric stash!
  >Use all sorts of materials!
("Anything that will fit through a square!")
Welcome!
I have been in business since 1999, selling my locker hooking books, patterns, kits, and supplies,
including the first and most comprehensive book written on locker hooking with fabric entitled,
Locker Hooking With Fabric Strips .  I also sell my crochet rag rugs and gifts, as well as my
crochet patterns, which have proven very popular!  In 2009, I produced an environmentally green
eBook of my first locker hooking book, as well as wrote and self-published a smaller and more
affordable version of the book entitled,
The Basics:  Locker Hook A Mug Rug.  It is available as a
spiral bound paper book or eBook.  It is also included in the Beginning Locker Hooking Kits.  My
locker hooking and crochet patterns are also paper and ePatterns.
